CoolAir provides the limited warranty period for the indoor and outdoor unit parts of its HVAC systems that accommodate cooling, heating and ventilation services under certain terms and conditions. This warranty is valid for all the original purchasers by the contractors in USA, Alaska and Hawaii, of the CoolAir products on following terms and conditions:

    All the parts of CoolAir HVAC indoor and outdoor units have warranty of 5 years.This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser of the system on which name the product is purchased and registered to. The company is not liable to validate the warranty for any other person who claims to own the system. This 5 year warranty starts from the date of purchase and is valid if only the part is found defective during this period of five years. In this case the company will replace the defective part with the original part. The company will charge nothing for the cost of the part. The warranty for the exchanged part will be considered from the date of purchase of the original system and will remain replaceable for the remaining period of warranty.The replaced parts might not be brand new and may be of another quality or refurbished. The damaged or defective parts will be returned to CoolAir.

    The compressor in CoolAir units has the warranty of 7 years. This warranty can only be claimed by the original purchaser of the HVAC unit. The claim from any other person on the behalf of the original owner will not be considered on this warranty. If the compressor proves to be defective in this 7 year period of warranty then CoolAir is liable to replace the compressor. This replacement will not be charged by the company. The compressor that is replaced will carry the warranty of the remaining period of the original 7 year warranty. During that period if that compressor is found to be defective then it will also be replaced by the company on the same conditions of the original compressor.

    On all the above warranties company will not provide the labor involved in repairs, dismantling the system or reinstalling. Company will also not bear the expenses on the shipping of the parts or the compressors. The parts that require maintenance from the owner are not included in the warranty like air-filters. The owner will bear the full responsibility of cleaning, maintenance, installation, extraction, shipment, labor, and replacement of these parts. CoolAir will not cover the costs of maintenance under the warranty.

    Registration of the CoolAir HVAC systems is required under the 90 days of purchase to get the benefits of the warranty. The registration can be done by the original owner through online registration page of CoolAir website. The registration process is easy as the purchaser only have to fill up the provided form.

    Before putting forward the claims please ensure that the units are properly installed. Check the manual provided with the HVAC system. Recheck customer control options and adjust accordingly. Try following the troubleshooting instructions in themanual but if the problem remains the same contact us to claim warranty.
    This warranty is not extendable due to any reason whatsoever.

    This warranty does not include any damage during installation or any defect that may arise from improper installation procedures.

    The company is not liable to accept this warranty in case of any accident, property damage, damage due to poor maintenance, misuse and mishandling of the units. This warranty does not cover the system failure or malfunction due to fluctuating electricity or due to exposure to the wet environment and harmful chemicals.Moreover the warranty is not valid for the damage due to lightening or burning.

    This limited warranty also excludes:
    (a) service calls where no defect in the system covered under this warranty is found:
    (b) System installation or set-ups;
    (c) Adjustments of user controls;
    (d) Systems purchased or installed outside the continental United States, Alaska and Hawai

    Except as otherwise provided in this limited warranty, CoolAir makes no other warranties of any kind whatsoever regarding the system. CoolAir disclaims and excludes all warranties not expressly provided herein and all remedies which, but for this provision, might arise by implication or operation of law, including, without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability, non-infringement of third party rights, and of fitness for any particular purpose. No one is authorized to change this limited warranty in any respect or to create any other obligation or liability for CoolAir in connection with the system. CoolAir disclaims all liability for the acts, omissions and conduct of all third parties (including, without limitation, the installing contractor) in connection with or related to the system.

    Under no circumstances shall CoolAir be liable for any indirect, incidental, special,punitive or consequential damages including, without limitation, infringement of third party rights, lost goodwill, lost revenues or profits, work stoppage, system failure, impairment of other goods, costs of removal and reinstallation of the system,loss of use, injury to persons or property arising out or related to the system whether based on breach of warranty, breach of contract, tort or otherwise, even if CoolAir has been advised of the possibility of such damage. In no event shall CoolAir’s liability exceed the actual purchase price of the system with respect to which any claim is made.
